M4A4 skins: what to know before you buy
The M4A4 is one of two Counter-Terrorist M4 rifles. It carries a 30-round magazine, more than the silenced M4A1-S, and players pick one of the two for their loadout. That steady demand keeps M4A4 skins liquid at every price level.
The most famous finish is the Howl, the only Contraband-grade gun skin: it was pulled from the Huntsman Weapon Case after a copyright claim, so no new copies can appear. Other popular choices include the Asiimov, The Emperor, Neo-Noir, Temukau, Desolate Space and 龍王 (Dragon King). Price depends on rarity, float, StatTrak and stickers.

Frequently asked questions
Why is the M4A4 Howl so expensive?
It is the only Contraband gun skin. After its removal from the Huntsman Weapon Case no more copies can be unboxed, so the existing supply is all there will ever be.
M4A4 or M4A1-S: which skins hold value better?
Both trade actively. The M4A4 suits players who prefer a 30-round magazine; the M4A1-S is silenced with 20 rounds. Value depends on the individual skin far more than on the rifle.
Which case has the M4A4 Neo-Noir?
The M4A4 | Neo-Noir is a Covert skin from the Clutch Case, released in 2018.
Does StatTrak raise the price?
Usually. StatTrak versions count kills made with the weapon and are rarer than normal copies, so they tend to sell for more at the same exterior.
