What's new on Waxpeer: October 2026
You can now swap skins for skins on the new Trade tab, withdraw to seven coins, confirm withdrawals with a single PayPass, and sell at 2% with the mobile app. Below is each change: what it means for you, how to use it in a few steps, and its limits and fees.

Trading and catalogue
Trade your skins for ours in one trade
You no longer have to sell first and buy second. On the new Trade tab you put your skins on one side, pick skins from Waxpeer on the other, and swap them in a single Steam trade. Both sides are shown in trade value, so you compare like for like.
How to use it
- 1Switch from Marketplace to Trade in the header and choose a game.
- 2Add skins from your inventory on the left, pick what you want on the right.
- 3Short on value? Press "Deposit $X more" — the deposit form opens with that amount already filled in. Then accept the Steam offer.
Limits and fees
- Games
- CS2, Dota 2, Rust, TF2
- You give at least
- $5
- Items per side
- up to 50
- Your picks are held for you
- 15 minutes

Change the price of a trade-locked listing
You can list skins that are still trade-locked on Steam, and buyers see the countdown on the card. New this month: you can reprice a trade-locked listing like any other, and a notice tells you when it can turn into a normal listing.
How to use it
- 1Open Sell items, then the Trade hold tab, and list a locked skin.
- 2Change its price whenever you like — the security deposit follows the new price.
- 3When the lock ends, the notice on the listing tells you it can become a normal listing.
Limits and fees
- Security deposit
- 5% of the price, frozen while the lock runs
- You get it back
- after the sale, when you delist, or if the lock ends unsold

Dota 2: shop by hero, slot and rarity
The Dota 2 catalogue now works like the CS2 one: filter by hero, slot, type, rarity and quality, remove any filter from its chip, and set how long a trade hold you accept. Item pages list the gems and runes on each offer, with a gem filter.
TF2: quality, killstreak, Australium
New TF2 filters: quality, exterior, killstreak, Australium, Festivized and delivery time. Find a Professional Killstreak Australium without scrolling past every Unique.
Selling and your hold balance
Sell at 2% instead of 6% with the mobile app

How to use it
- 1Install Waxpeer for iOS or Android.
- 2Sign in with the same Steam account you sell from.
- 3Keep the app connected while you sell. The 2% applies to your sales from then on.

Spend your sale money right after the sale
Money from a sale sits in your Hold balance for 8 days while Steam's trade protection runs. You don't have to wait to use it: your Hold balance pays for CS2 skins with instant delivery, and when you shop with it the catalogue shows only what it can pay for.
How to use it
- 1Sell a skin. The money lands in your Hold balance.
- 2Buy a CS2 skin with instant delivery. When your main balance runs out, Hold pays the rest.
- 3What's left moves to your main balance after 8 days, ready to withdraw.

Withdraw to USDT, USDC, LTC, SOL, ETH, BNB and TON

- 1Open Withdraw, pick a coin, then a network.

Gifts, creators and socials

How to use it
- 1On a skin, press "Buy as a gift".
- 2Copy the gift link or send it by email.
- 3Your friend opens the box and the skin is theirs.

USP-S | Kill ConfirmedCreator pages, and a gift for signing up
A creator's link (waxpeer.com/r/code) now opens their own page with their avatar and a short line from them. Sign up through it and you may get a welcome gift box, if that creator runs one. And if you invite friends yourself, you earn 1% of every purchase and sale they make.
How to use it
- 1Open your referral page and copy your link.
- 2Share it. The first creator link a visitor opens is the one that counts.
- 3Earn 1% of every purchase and sale your friends make.
Limits and fees
- Your reward
- 1% of friends’ purchases and sales
Giveaways that ask for a linked account
A giveaway can now ask you to link X, Discord or Telegram before you join. Purchases and sales still in trade protection count toward its buy and sell rules, and a "You are in" banner confirms you joined.

Account and security
Emails for what matters, and you choose which
New emails tell you about a login from a new device, a bargain offer, a completed deposit, a gift, a new giveaway, and a processed withdrawal with its explorer link. Pick which ones you get in your profile; every email has a one-click unsubscribe.
A guided 2FA setup and a Wallets tab
Setting up 2FA is now a step-by-step wizard, and turning it off has its own clear dialog. A code from the previous or next 30 seconds is accepted, so a phone clock that's slightly off won't lock you out. Your saved withdrawal addresses live in a new Wallets tab.
How to use it
- 1Profile → Security: run the 2FA setup and scan the QR code.
- 2Profile → Wallets: add a wallet (coin, then network) and name it.
- 3Rename one, or delete it — you get a few seconds to undo.
One more thing
We hope you enjoyed the Spooky Party
For ten days the bats were in charge. They hung off your item cards, the pumpkins took over the header, and one ghost just wouldn't stay off the edge of your screen. We'll sweep up the cobwebs after November 2. Building it was a blast, and we hope clicking through it was too.
Too spooky? The "Halloween theme" switch at the bottom of the page turns it off.

Link X and show your socials on your shop
You can now link your X account, and show Telegram, Discord and X as buttons on your shop page, so buyers can reach you and follow you.
