The Printstream collection

Elevate your CS:GO gameplay with the unique and stylish PRINTSTREAM collection featuring bold black and white graphics inspired by artist Felipepantone. Learn about the collection's unique features including ASCII art and Normal map and Pearlescent effects.

The PRINTSTREAM collection is a relatively new set of weapon skins available on the Steam Workshop. Currently, the collection features ten (!) skins, three of which have already been added to the game, and the creator has promised that more are coming soon. The skins feature a bold black and white color scheme with graphic shapes like crosses and rectangles, inspired by artist Felipepantone.

One unique feature of the skins is the dashed lines on the back of the gun, resembling ASCII art. The creator did research on the subject and found that Printstream is a type of variable in Java language used to code ASCII art. Additionally, the magazine includes the words "try again" as a fun and sneaky addition for when players waste a magazine hitting nothing.

The creator of PRINTSTREAM also challenged themselves by incorporating Normal map and Pearlescent effect into the skins. As an art student, they found it fun to learn these techniques by watching tutorials and videos. Interestingly, many players have pointed out that the crosses on the skins remind them of the loading screen of the classic game Need for Speed Carbon.

Overall, the PRINTSTREAM collection offers a unique and stylish addition to any CS:GO player's inventory. Fans of bold graphics and black and white color schemes will surely appreciate these skins. Stay tuned for more additions to the collection!
