Valve has decided to not add these player autographs to the game. Let's try to find out why!

New Rules Regarding Player Autographs From VALVE - W or L?

Valve has updated the rules regarding the players’ autograph stickers. From now on, the autographs have to be written by the players themselves. This is a crucial change, as in the past, some professionals asked graphic designers to develop the autographs for them.

Valve emphasized that the autograph should be similar to when players are signing a mousepad, for example. It should not take more than 5-10 seconds for a player to produce the autograph.

Boombl4

Kirill “Boombl4” Mikhaylov is a professional Counter-Strike 2 player, currently playing for Cloud9. He seems to have written some Chinese characters in one part of his signature followed by his classic "mbl4" on the other side. It probably refers to the upcoming Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024, which will be the second Major of 2024 and the first ever Major to be played in China.

That sticker could've become super expensive due to it's connection with the Chinese culture, but it's probably just too complicated according to the new unofficial rules by Valve regarding player autographs.

Rain

Håvard "rain" Nygaard has been a FaZe Clan member since like... forever (8+ years to be exact). In contrast to JL, his signature looks more complicated and unclear with its many curved lines and shapes.

You've probably already noticed a pretty obvious "69" part in it (which we won't be going deep into though), which might be the reason why we will never see this sticker make it into CS2.

JL

Justinas Lekavičius a.k.a JL is probably the best-known Lithuanian CS2 player, currently plays for Natus Vincere. In the picture, his autograph appears to be simple and fun as it incorporates a smiley face. That's not that much of a surprise, as it's known that JL’s character is super friendly and sociable.

Even though the autograph is pretty simple, it still got declined by Valve for some reason.

Hobbit

HObbit is yet another player from the Cloud9 CS2 core. His autograph only uses English letters without any complications. The autograph is like Hobbit’s strategy which are straightforward and assured.

Why would Valve cancel this one? Honestly, we have no idea...

Woxic

Probably the best sticker in this list! That crosshair combined with Woxic's signature might have become one of the best fitting stickers to apply on the scope of your AWP. Sadly, we'll never see it make it into CS.

The community has mixed reactions about the change. Some believe it’s a pointless change that will only make the autographs look worse, while others claim it’s for the best.
